RECENT RUACH ROCK NEWS:

Jay's song "B'chol Le'vav'cha" is featured in Behrman House's new "Hebrew in Harmoney" curriculum series.

Jay is implementing his "Ruach Rock T'filah" MARE Capstone Curriculum at Bernard Zell Day School in Chicago.

Jay served as a creative T'filah facilitor at NFTY (National Federation of Temple Youth) Convention in February 2017.

Jay led T'filah at the ARJE (Association of Reform Jewish Educations) Gathering in St. Louis, MO in January 2017.

Jay will return to serve on the faculty of Tiferet at URJ Camp OSRUI in June 2017.

Jay led “Ruach Rock T’filah" workshops on his HUC-JIR Master’s thesis in 2016 at Hava Nashira and NewCAJE.

Jay performed at the Greater Chicago Jewish Festival on Sunday, June 5, 2016.

Jay’s song “We Are Building” is featured in the PJ Library of Baltimore “200,000th Book” project.

Jay's song "L'chadaysh Et Ha'yashan" is featured on the "NFTY Ruach 5775" compilation from URJ Books & Music, released in February 2015 at NFTY Convention in Atlanda, GA.

Jay became the Director of Lifelong Learning at Temple Sholom of Chicago in June 2014.

Jay's song "B'chol Le'vav'cha" is featured on the "Blessings, Love, Music" CD from PJ Library.

Jay's song "Open My Lips" is featured in "Shabbat Anthology VII" from URJ Books & Music, released in December 2013 at URJ Biennial in San Diego, CA. Jay performed throughout the conference.  

Jay served as the artist-in-residence at Temple Beth El in Williamsburg, VA in August 2013, providing music for Shabbat morning and evening services, leading a lunch Torah Study, performing a Havalah coffeehouse singalong and a Sunday morning family concert with musicians and singers from the community.
